{"id":8607,"date":"2025-10-14T12:20:43","date_gmt":"2025-10-14T09:20:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sytenko.org.ua\/?p=8607"},"modified":"2025-10-14T12:25:48","modified_gmt":"2025-10-14T09:25:48","slug":"the-partnership-between-the-pryazovskyi-state-technical-university-and-the-sytenko-institute-of-spine-and-joint-pathology-of-the-national-academy-of-medical-sciences-of-ukraine-is-in-action","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sytenko.org.ua\/en\/news-institute\/the-partnership-between-the-pryazovskyi-state-technical-university-and-the-sytenko-institute-of-spine-and-joint-pathology-of-the-national-academy-of-medical-sciences-of-ukraine-is-in-action\/","title":{"rendered":"The partnership between the Pryazovskyi State Technical University and the Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine is in action."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 22 September, an open lecture on the topic <strong>\u201cImplants in Orthopaedics and Traumatology\u201d<\/strong> was held at the State Higher Educational Institution \u201cPSTU\u201d.<br \/>\nThe lecture was conducted within the framework of a new partnership agreement with the <strong>Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine<\/strong> by orthopaedic surgeon, postgraduate student <strong>Yevhen OLINKEVYCH<\/strong> and DMSc <a href=\"\/cv\/fedotova-inga\/\" class=\"cv\">Inha FEDOTOVA<\/a>, Deputy Director of the Institute.<\/p>\n<p>The lecture was primarily intended for students of the specialities \u201cBiomedical Engineering\u201d and \u201cMaterials Science\u201d, but the topic also interested students from other fields: it was attended by lecturers and students of the Faculty of Information Technologies, the Educational and Scientific Institute of Modern Technologies of PSTU, as well as guests from the Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology.<br \/>\nThe audience learned about implant classification, modern materials, examples of ceramic applications, 3D modelling, and 3D printing in medical practice.<br \/>\nFor PSTU students, this was an excellent opportunity to see how engineering knowledge is applied in modern medicine.  <\/p>\n<p>The open lecture with invited speakers became possible thanks to the efforts of the Department of Biomedical Engineering (Head \u2014 Prof. <strong>Oleksandr AZARKHOV<\/strong>) and the International Relations Office (Head \u2014 <strong>Kateryna POLUPANOVA<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>The cooperation between PSTU and the Sytenko Institute opens new horizons for our students and young scientists.
