A book exhibition organized at the Institute\u2019s Library<\/a> is dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the birth of the prominent orthopaedic surgeon and traumatologist, Professor Mykola Sytenko<\/strong> \u2014 Director of the Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine in 1927\u20131940. Under his leadership, a modern system of orthopaedic and trauma care in Ukraine was established, a network of specialized institutions was developed, and in 1927 the journal Orthopaedics and Traumatology was founded.<\/p>\n

The exhibition has been prepared on the eve of the international scientific and practical conference \u201cModern Technologies of Treatment and Rehabilitation of Musculoskeletal Diseases and Combat Injuries.\u201d<\/p>\n
