Master class “Ultrasound Examination of the Musculoskeletal System (Lower Limb)”

The State Institution “Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine” plans to hold a master class on May 16, 2025, titled “Ultrasound Examination of the Musculoskeletal System (Lower Limb)”. The event will take place offline.
Location: Kharkiv, Hryhorii Skovoroda Street (formerly Pushkinska Street), 80, Sytenko Institute.

Event Program:

9:30 – 10:15

Techniques of ultrasound examination of joints and soft tissues.
10:15 – 11:00

Ultrasound anatomy of the joints and soft tissues of the lower limb.
11:00 – 11:30

Break
11:30 – 12:15

Practical training on models for visualization of anatomical structures of the lower limb joints.
12:15 – 13:00

Ultrasound signs of pathological changes in the joints and soft tissues of the lower limb.
13:00 – 13:30

Break
13:30 – 14:15

Practical training on models for visualization of pathological changes in the joints and soft tissues of the lower limb.
14:15 – 16:15

Ultrasound diagnostics of normal and pathological conditions of the skin, subcutaneous fat, and muscles in children and adults.
16:15 – 16:30

The master class will be conducted by:

Svitlana Yakovenko, PhD in Medicine, Senior Researcher at the Department of Pathophysiology, Anesthesiology, and Functional Diagnostics of the State Institution “Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine”.

We invite orthopedic traumatologists, rheumatologists, surgeons, and ultrasound diagnostics specialists to participate.
Participants will receive 10 CPD points.

The training fee is 1100 UAH.
