The Human Resources Department is an independent structural unit of the State Institution “Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine,” reporting directly to the Director of the Institute. The primary task of the department is to ensure the staffing of the Institute.
Main Tasks and Functions of the Human Resources Department:
- Organising and providing the Institute with the necessary workforce in required professions, specialities, and qualifications in collaboration with department heads.
- Documenting employment relations (hiring, transfers, dismissals) of the Institute’s employees in accordance with labour legislation.
- Preparing orders and directives in accordance with the rights and responsibilities of the Human Resources Department.
- Monitoring compliance with internal work regulations and labour discipline among Institute employees.
- Maintaining records of employees in all categories for the systematisation and analysis of HR data, as well as compiling personnel reports.
- Managing and keeping personnel files and employment records.
- Processing and recording leave applications.
- Keeping records and reserving military personnel and conscripts at the Institute in accordance with legislation.
- Participating in the development of the Collective Agreement, Charter, Internal Work Regulations, structure, and staffing of the Institute within the powers assigned to the Human Resources Department.
- Preparing and submitting required documents to state institutions in accordance with current legislation.
- Issuing and managing employment and service-related certificates.
- Processing temporary disability certificates for submission to the relevant commission and accounting department.
- Organising the use, storage, and transfer of documents to the archive in accordance with the records management nomenclature of the Human Resources Department.

Medical examination certificate
Diploma of education with an appendix, diploma of second higher education (if available)
Copy of specialist doctor certificate, medical category certificate, copies of documents on advanced training courses
Diploma awarding an academic degree (if available, attach a copy)
Certificate conferring an academic title (if available, attach a copy)
Employment record book or a certified copy (for part-time employees)
Certificate from the main place of work with a work schedule (for external part-time employees)
Certificate of benefits (war veterans, Chernobyl disaster victims, persons with disabilities)
Copy of marriage certificate
Copy of child’s birth certificate (up to 15 years old)
Copy of documents on state awards, honorary titles
