PhD in Medicine Romanenko K.K. — doctor of the highest category, Associate Professor at the Department of Traumatology and Orthopaedics of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, Postgraduate Education Institute, Kharkiv National Medical University. He defended his PhD thesis on “Ununited Diaphyseal Fractures of Long Bones (Risk Factors, Diagnostics, Treatment)” and is currently preparing to defend his doctoral dissertation titled “Diagnosis and Treatment of Extra-articular Post-Traumatic Deformities of Long Bones of the Lower Extremities (Clinical and Experimental Study)”.

He is a faculty member of the international organisation AO TRAUMA (Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Malta), participates in national and international conferences, and has completed internships in the USA, Israel, Austria, and other countries. He has 30 years of clinical experience in the treatment of complex fractures and their complications. He is actively involved in training interns and advancing the professional skills of practicing trauma surgeons in Ukraine and abroad.
