On April 11, 2025, the State Institution “Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine” proudly opened the renovated Rehabilitation Department. Thanks to the efforts of our team and the support of the leadership of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, we have created a modern, comfortable and functional environment for patients and medical staff. Renovated premises, modern lighting and compliance with all sanitary, hygienic and ergonomic standards provide cosiness for patients and comfortable working conditions for medical staff.

The new rehabilitation room is equipped with modern exercise equipment, physiotherapy machines, a vertical walking machine with a screen, a telemedicine screen and virtual reality glasses. These innovations significantly increase the effectiveness of rehabilitation and allow for the implementation of individual programmes in line with international standards.

The Institute now provides a fully closed cycle of treatment — from the patient’s admission for surgical treatment, through control and observation at the stages of rehabilitation treatment, to discharge from the Institute. This means that patients receive continuous and coordinated medical care under one roof, which contributes to better recovery and shorter treatment time.
