Free access to the electronic scientific information databases listed below is available to all staff members of the Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.

Web of Science
Access is available within the Institute’s local network via https://webofscience.com. Remote access is possible provided that the user registers on the Web of Science website and subsequently logs in from a computer using this registration.
Research4Life
Research4Life provides access to full-text resources from publishers including Elsevier, Springer Nature, John Wiley & Sons, Taylor & Francis, Emerald, Sage Publications, Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, IOP Publishing and many others.

to obtain login credentials for the platform (username and password). The provided credentials must not be disclosed or shared with persons who are not employees of the Institution.
Then proceed to the unified portal Research4Life:
A short English-language video guide on logging in, using the Research4Life portal and searching for information is available for users.
The official YouTube channel of the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine provides a series of webinars in Ukrainian on obtaining access, working with the Research4Life portal and conducting effective literature searches. In addition, a Telegram group has been created to answer frequently asked questions.

Electronic journals and books available through participation in the EIFL-Ukraine consortium
As a participant in the EIFL-Ukraine consortium, the Institute has free access to electronic resources (journals and books) from the following publishers:
Oxford Academic Press provides access to more than 500 journals, including 186 in medicine, and over 61,000 books in various fields, including 3,507 in medicine.
Cambridge University Press provides access to 420 journals in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, technology and medicine.
The Company of Biologists’ Journals provides access to 5 journals: Development, Journal of Cell Science, Journal of Experimental Biology, Disease Models & Mechanisms, Biology Open.
Access conditions:
Access is available within the Institute’s local network via the links below (if accessed from external sites, such as PubMed, full-text access will also be available). Remote access is not provided by the publishers.
