The master class “Ultrasound Examination of the Musculoskeletal System (Shoulder and Elbow Joints)”

The State Institution «Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine» plans to hold on October 17, 2025 an master class “Ultrasound Examination of the Musculoskeletal System (Shoulder and Elbow Joints)”, which will take place offline.

Venue – Kharkiv, 80 Hryhorii Skovoroda Street (former Pushkinska Street), Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology.

Ultrasound anatomy and methodology of ultrasound examination of the shoulder and elbow joints and soft tissues of the upper limb.

11:00 – 11:30

Break.

11:30 – 12:30

Practical training on models for visualisation of the anatomical structures of the shoulder and elbow joints.

12:30 – 14:00

Ultrasound signs of pathological changes in the shoulder and elbow joints and soft tissues of the upper limb.

14:00 – 15:00

Practical training on models for visualisation of pathological changes in the shoulder and elbow joints and soft tissues of the upper limb.

15:00 – 16:00

Discussion.

Testing.

Workshop leader:
Svitlana M. Yakovenko, PhD (Medicine), Senior Researcher at the Department of Pathophysiology, Anaesthesiology and Functional Diagnostics, Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology NAMS of Ukraine.

We invite orthopaedic surgeons, rheumatologists, surgeons, ultrasound specialists, and family doctors to take part.
Participants will receive a certificate with CPD credits.

The training fee of 1100 UAH is payable upon arrival.
