This training course will be beneficial for all practising anaesthesiologists. You will learn the key principles of providing optimal mechanical ventilation in the operating theatre, from the theoretical foundations of respiratory physiology to advanced practical aspects.
Topics to be Covered:
- fundamentals of respiratory mechanics;
- main and adjunct mechanical ventilation modes used in the operating theatre: VC, PC, PSV;
- ventilation monitoring;
- protective ventilation strategies in the operating theatre.
Participants who successfully complete the test assessment will receive a certificate with 6 CPD credits.
