According to the work plan of the Ukrainian Association of Joint Endoprosthetics, on 6 November 2026 an All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference entitled “Primary Total Hip Arthroplasty (Errors and Pitfalls in Complex Cases)” will be held at the Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise “City Clinical Hospital No. 11” in Odesa.

Leading specialists from the State Institution “Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine” have been invited to deliver presentations at the conference: Professor S. Bondarenko, Professor V. Filipenko, Professor V. Tankut, and O. Marushchak, PhD.

The conference programme will focus on current and challenging issues related to modern methods of diagnosis and treatment of patients with Grade III–IV dysplastic coxarthrosis, the consequences of trauma, and inflammatory processes affecting the hip joint. Drawing on many years of clinical experience, the speakers will present contemporary approaches to the surgical management of patients with these complex conditions
