The staff and administration of the State Institution “Institute of Pathology of the Spine and Joints. prof. MI Sytenko NAMS of Ukraine “deeply mourns the death of a prominent scientist, head of the Department of Physiology and Pathology of the musculoskeletal system, President of the Ukrainian Association of Osteoporosis, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Professor Vladislav Vladimirovich POVOROZNYUK.

For many years, Vladislav Volodymyrovych and I had scientific interests and warm, friendly relations. We knew and deeply respected Vladislav Vladimirovich both as a talented scientist, an experienced doctor, and as a good, sincere man. Vladyslav Volodymyrovych devoted his whole life to medical science and treatment of sick people. He made a great contribution to the development of medicine, cured thousands of patients who are grateful to him for his life and health, and brought up a whole galaxy of young scientists. The memory of Vladislav Vladimirovich will remain in our hearts for a long time. His death is a heavy loss for the entire Ukrainian scientific community.
