On 17 October 2025, the Institute hosted a workshop titled “Ultrasound Examination of the Musculoskeletal System (Shoulder and Elbow Joints)”.

The workshop was conducted by Dr. Svitlana Mykhailivna Yakovenko, Ultrasound Diagnostics Specialist and Senior Research Fellow at the Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, PhD (Medicine).

During the workshop, participants attended a lecture on the methodology of ultrasound examination of the joints and soft tissues of the upper limb, ultrasound anatomy, and the sonographic features of pathological changes in the joints and soft tissues of the upper limb.

The lecture was accompanied by live demonstrations of patient examinations, followed by practical sessions using models to visualise pathological changes in the joints and soft tissues of the upper limb.
