Teams of the Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Kharkiv Medical Academy for Post-graduate Education and Kharkiv Medical Society are deeply saddened by the death of a prominent orthopedist-traumatologist, well-known academician LOBENKO Anatolii Oleksandrovych.

For many years we were connected with Anatolii Oleksandrovych by creative, friendly relations. We highly valued and deeply respected Anatolii Oleksandrovych both as a talented scientist who made a great contribution to the development of medical science and founded a new direction – marine medicine, and as a kind, sensitive person. The memory of Anatoly Alexandrovich will always live in our hearts. His death is a heavy loss for the entire medical community of Ukraine.
