The Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine was represented at the congress by the Institute’s Director, Doctor of Medical Sciences Stanislav Bondarenko, who took part in the scientific programme and meetings with the SICOT leadership.

During the meetings, promising areas for scientific and practical cooperation in 2027 were identified, including osseointegrative exoprosthetic rehabilitation and 3D printing of new materials for bone defect reconstruction.

Active participation in the congress and in representing Ukraine was also taken by Oleksandr Haluzynskyi, Research Fellow at the Institute and PhD in Medical Sciences, as well as Professor Roman Blonskyi, Chief Research Fellow at the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedics of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.
