The conference organized by the pharmaceutical company MoviHealth (Switzerland) was an important event for the medical community. The conference was held on October 4, 2024 in Kharkiv, and within its framework, modern achievements and innovative approaches to the treatment of pathologies of the musculoskeletal system were discussed.

The Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine was represented by leading specialists: Director of the Institute, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Stanislav Bondarenko and leading specialist, Candidate of Medical Sciences Sergey Kosterin. They shared with the conference participants their scientific achievements and experience in the treatment of osteoarthritis, which aroused considerable interest among the colleagues present.

Professor Stanislav Bondarenko delivered a report on “Surgical treatment of osteoarthritis of large joints”, where he discussed in detail the latest methods of surgical intervention for osteoarthritis of large joints. He emphasized the importance of an individual approach to patients and the use of modern technologies that can significantly improve the effectiveness of treatment and reduce the risk of postoperative complications. The report presented data on the clinical results of new surgical techniques, which demonstrate a high level of restoration of joint functionality in patients.

Sergiy Kosterin, in turn, spoke on “Modern Approaches to Osteoarthritis Management”, in which he highlighted conservative treatment methods and modern strategies for managing patients with osteoarthritis. In his report, he focused on innovative medical approaches and rehabilitation methods aimed at relieving symptoms, improving quality of life and preventing disease progression.

This conference opened new perspectives for the implementation of advanced pharmaceutical developments in the practice of Ukrainian doctors, which will further improve the quality of treatment of patients with joint diseases.
