On June 20, 2024, a scientific and practical conference “Orthopedic and traumatological service in institutions of different levels today. Cooperation and consistency”.

On June 20, 2024, within the framework of the Day of Traumatologist, a scientific and practical conference (CPD event) was held in a mixed format (offline and online) “Orthopedic and traumatological service in institutions of different levels today. Cooperation and consistency”.
The event was organized by the Kharkiv regional branch of the Ukrainian Association of Orthopedic Surgeons and Traumatologists, the State Institution “Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine” and the Balakliya Clinical Multidisciplinary Hospital of Intensive Care (BCMCH), where the event was held.
The agenda included the treatment of combat trauma, cooperation of various medical institutions under martial law, the work of the trauma department of the Balakleya Intensive Care Hospital, 3D modeling of individual implants, shoulder joint replacement, and more.
The conference participants were welcomed by Dr. Stanislav Bondarenko, Director of the Sytenko Institute, and Dr. Marina Rudenko, Director of the Balakleya Hospital.
Dr. Bondarenko, MD, Head of the Trauma Department of the BCBLH, Candidate of Medicine Yuriy Gnedushkin, Head of the Department of Zaporizhzhya State Medical University, Professor Maksym Holovakha, MD, Oleksandr Strafun, MD, from the State Institution “ITO NAMS of Ukraine”, and others made presentations.
The conference was followed by the General Meeting of the Kharkiv Regional Branch of the UAWTO, where the Chairman of the Branch, the Board of the Branch and the approval of the NACE 59.98 (type of economic activity) – non-formal education were elected.
Zorik Harutyunyan, PhD, was elected Chairman of the General Meeting.
