Memorandum of Cooperation between the “Association of United Forces” and the Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine

The Public Union “Association of United Forces” and the State Institution “Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine” signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The document was signed by the Director of the Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Secretary General of the European Hip Society (EHS), National Representative of Ukraine in SICOT Stanislav Bondarenko, and the Chairman of the Board of the “AUS” PU Vitalii Krestenkov.
Before the signing, the parties thoroughly discussed all provisions of the document. The Institute is already actively cooperating with veteran organizations of Kharkiv and the region: meetings are held, pressing issues are discussed, and joint solutions are sought.
Despite difficult conditions, the Institute’s doctors provide veterans with free, round-the-clock, highly qualified assistance: performing complex bone and joint surgeries, conducting unique interventions, ensuring recovery and rehabilitation of military personnel.
At the same time, as the Director of the Institute Stanislav Bondarenko emphasizes, many problems remain:
Representatives of the “Association of United Forces,” at the invitation of the Institute’s management, took part in a working meeting with medical specialists from the capital. Among the guests were the Chief Traumatologist of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Colonel of the Medical Service, Professor Yurii Yarmoliuk, and the Vice President of the Association of Orthopaedists and Traumatologists of Ukraine, Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences Oleksandr Burianov. Together with the Institute’s doctors and colleagues from other medical institutions, they toured the clinic, familiarized themselves with patients’ treatment progress, reviewed X-rays, and discussed current issues in orthopaedics and traumatology.
The Institute assists not only the military and veterans. Free medical service packages are also available to the civilian population under the Medical Guarantee Program. They can be found on the institution’s website: sytenko.org.ua/for-patients/.
As part of the cooperation, the “AUS” PU plans to continue supporting the doctors, organizing meetings, and helping to address urgent problems. The goal is to ensure proper treatment and rehabilitation of Ukraine’s defenders and veterans through joint efforts.
