Specialists of the Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine Joined Research Projects on Custom Implants and Became Winners of the NRFU 2026–2028 Competition

Specialists of the Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, together with the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies (USUST), are participating in research projects focused on the development of customised implants.
Project No. 2025.07/0347 “Fundamental principles for the creation of customised implants for military and civilian medicine with prolonged antimicrobial activity” became a winner of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine competition “Advanced Science in Ukraine 2026–2028”, as confirmed by an official certificate.

Institute staff are also involved in the young scientists’ research project “Innovative bioactive implant systems for reconstructive surgery after military trauma with prolonged antibacterial effect”.
