The Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology of National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine Has Been Included in the State Register of Scientific Institutions Eligible for State Support
In accordance with Order No. 85 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 22 January 2026, the State Institution Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine has been entered into the State Register of Scientific Institutions Eligible for State Support for the period up to 31 December 2030.
The inclusion of the Sytenko Institute in the State Register constitutes official recognition of the Institute’s high scientific status, its compliance with the state-defined criteria, and the results of state attestation. The Register brings together scientific institutions and higher education establishments that, following attestation, have been classified into Groups A, B, or C, and provides for targeted state support for the development of science and scientific-technical activity.
Institutions and higher education establishments included in the State Register:
- are entitled to tax benefits in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine;
- may not change their scientific and scientific-technical activities to other types of activity;
- are obliged to allocate at least 50% of their income to the conduct of scientific and/or scientific-technical research and to the development of their material and technical base.
For our Institute, this achievement is the result of systematic, consistent, and responsible work by the researchers of the Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine — academic and teaching staff, researchers, postgraduate students, and degree seekers. It confirms that the Institute is a research-oriented institution in which science is not an addition to the educational process but its foundation, defining institutional responsibility and shaping a strategic vision for future development.
